As we all know, China has become a big country in hardware manufacturing, but the total export value of the hardware industry is only a few percent of the total production. Before the financial crisis, the total output value of the hardware industry has reached 800 billion yuan, and has maintained a growth rate of more than 15%. Among them, exports amounted to 50.3 billion US dollars, accounting for only 6.28%. Luo Baihui, secretary-general of the International Mold, Hardware and Plastic Industry Suppliers Association, said that if China wants to become a manufacturing powerhouse, it must have a group of powerful hardware manufacturing groups and form several distinctive and internationally renowned hardware manufacturing centers. By 2020, the proportion of China’s industrial added value in the global industrial added value will increase from 5.72% in 2000 to more than 10%. The proportion of my country’s finished product exports to global finished product exports will increase from 5.22% in 2000 to more than 10%. Management experience, management methods, and management talents are all facing challenges. Market management, price management, and sales promotion management are all at a middle or upper-middle level. China Hardware’s business management model has not yet embarked on the road of real agency.
At present, it is difficult for my country’s hardware manufacturers to obtain funds, and even if they can obtain funds, the scale is very limited. The design ability, level and processing methods of multinational hardware companies are higher than ours. They all have advanced design reserves, but we lack both capital and technology. Most Chinese hardware companies operate with debt and lack the ability to transform, and their products are all on the same level. Therefore, the development of hardware companies is full of difficulties, and they are often forced to fall into price wars.
Compared with the international hardware market, there are still many gaps between the domestic hardware market and the international hardware market. With my country’s accession to WTO, China’s hardware industry has gained an important position in the world. my country’s hardware industry needs to keep pace with the world’s hardware industry, enhance the strength of enterprises, and speed up the process of internationalization.
